When reading Waking Up and Taking Charge, I would have just taken everything at face value. I didn’t really have it in my mind to analyze what Kamenetz was saying. After learning about the different types of appeals, and how to analyze if a source is trustworthy it changed the way I saw the article all together. I think knowing what to look for really helped in my analysis.
